weeeeeeeee

after moving down a level and dropping a quick $10 on a river bet with AA against a rivered set

this hand I dunno, after calling my 3bet preflop he checked behind the turn after insta calling my cbet

I eliminated two pair/set hands once he checked turn. I figured him for an underpair/T/ KQ/89 open ended straight draw

Dealt to joefriday29 [Kc As]

Mr.TitoJ: checks
*** RIVER *** [Jh 5c Ts 4s] [6s]
joefriday29 checks
Mr.TitoJ bets $14
joefriday29 raises AI for $24 more?

he snap called with the backdoor flush 89s

sooooooooo mistakes: I think the idea he would bet is

Yeah I pretty much suck: against the infamous fgators

I open CO with 99
wild1wily is calling station calls on button
fgators squeezes to 15

I thought fgators was squeezing, hince the call, called the low flop for 30 with my overpair because hey cbet right? called the turn for 70 because I'm a idiot and thought hey "surely calling flop bet and folding to a turn bet is spew"

Present actions should always be based on current information not on metagame/overall considerations, I think that's my mistake.

Also, I need to put people on hands, give credit then adjust upon possible exploitation

Through a Donkey Dimly is a Blog About Getting Money in Bad In the Grand Ole Game of Poker.

Referring to a verse I apparently dredged from the old biblical upbringing I had as a child.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”

Hopefully this will prompt me to really see what I'm doing wrong, and help me play perfect poker in the future
